For the most reliable results, we recommend using a wired Ethernet connection. If you are on WiFi, stay close to the router and ensure no other devices are heavily using the network (like streaming or downloading) during the test.
It depends on your needs. For basic browsing and SD streaming, 5-10 Mbps is enough. However, for 4K streaming and smooth video conferencing, at least 25 Mbps is recommended. Gamers should focus more on "Ping" (latency), where a value under 20ms is considered excellent.
Several factors can affect your speed, including outdated hardware, distance from the WiFi router, network congestion in your area, or background apps consuming bandwidth. If your results are consistently low, contact your ISP.
Download: How fast data travels from the internet to your device.
Upload: How fast you send data to others (important for video calls).
Ping (Latency): The reaction time of your connection–lower is better for gaming.
